Talents and Abilities

 Romans 12:6

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, in proportion to our faith.

Heart of the Home is a place where women are following the leading of the Lord. Listening day by day as he guides us to his designed purpose for our lives to glorify him and to be the Heart of the Home. Bringing women back to God's original design. We are the light of the world, shining the light of his Word to everyone in the house. Being Salt of the earth to our families and fellow sisters in Christ.

We believe that we have all been given unique talents, gifts and abilities that God uses in different ways through each of us.  The Bible tells us to use our gifts and abilities to honor God and to bless, encourage and strengthen others.

2 Peter 4:10

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.

One of the ways God has confirmed that we should use this blog is as a showcase for our sisters' talents.  This is why we have a Feature Friday.

Now, you may think that “ I don’t have a talent to share”.  Sister, we all have talents that we can use to bless & encourage other sisters.  Maybe you can share a recipe with pictures & instructions; maybe you are crafty & can share a tutorial on how to make an item.  Whatever your ability/gift, we want to feature you.  If you sell product & we feature you, we ask that you donate an item for a give-a-way at the end of the week.  Even if you don’t sell items, we would like to feature your tips.  Please email me and let me know what you would like to share or if you would like to be featured.  There is very little work required of you.  Just email me the information & pictures at:  HeartoftheHome.Missy@gmail.com and I will put it together into a nice feature article.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
