What is your definition of Grace?

What is your definition of GRACE?
I think we have all heard a little different versions of Grace..
Sunday at church I heard one that I think I will never forget..
Grace never come alone
it always comes with Unmerited Favor

Now I love visuals...
and this is how our pastor explained this
wonderful gift of Grace w/ Unmerited Favor..

The world over the last 8 weeks
have been watching the trial of
Casey Anthony

who was charged with the murder of her daughter
Caylee Anthony

Now some would say that
Casey got a form of Grace by not being
charged with Murder..

Now
 Grace w/Unmerited Favor
would be if on July 17th
she walked out of jail and
No one looked at her as Guilty....

Now we all know, that whether she
did it or not,,
she is never going to be looked at as
innocent, due to her actions...

And who are we to judge?
Only God knows what really happened
 to that precious
little girl.
But she is in the hands of the Lord now.

But the Unmerited Favor we get from
Jesus dying on the cross for our sins
says..
Not only do I forgive your sins,
but I look at you with nothing but
LOVE
forgetting your sin...

Boy, am I feeling real grateful
right now that
God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit
loves us enough to give us
GRACE COMPLETE W/UNMERITED FAVOR...

God Bless You All !

  1. Donald Barnhouse, scholar, says this: “Love that goes upward is worship; love that goes outward is affection; love that stoops is grace.”

    I love that quote.

  2. An excellent example of the depth of God's Grace in our lives. 'Tis a humbling thing to be a recipient of such unmerited favor. I am broken.
    Joy!

  3. What an illustration! I'm not from USA, but from India...I knew nothing abt this trial till my customers (I work for Amazon!) came along and threatened to withdraw business if we offered any kind of service/help /assistance to this mother...Work aside, I think, who are we to judge?
