| I have been listening to the audible book called Sun Stand Still
by Steven Furtick, pastor of Elevation Church in NC.

It is a story based on Joshua 10.
Where when Joshua had gone to battle, and
God told him in verse (8),
Do not be afraid of them, I had given them unto your hand.
Now even after Joshua had heard this promise from God
and the battle was being won,,
but the sun was going down and Joshua was afraid that
there was not enough time to complete the task
 so in verse(12) Joshua crys
"O sun stand still over Gibeon,
O moon over the Valley of Aijaion,
 (13) So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped
till the nation avenged itself on the enemies...
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky
and delayed going down about a full day.
 (14) There has never been a day like this before
nor since. a day when the Lord listened to a man.
Surely the Lord was fighting for Isreal..
 WOW
 Joshua, was an audacious warrior
 (Audacious~behaving w/ boldness and daring)
But this story made me think that we
might be being a little wimpy
 in our prayers ...
I mean here Joshua asked God to
 make the
 SUN STAND STILL..
 are you kidding me..
 If God can and did do that;
then we should be coming to God
 with Honor and Reverence
 but believing in an Audacious
way that God can not only answer
our prayers, (if it is within his will for our lives),
but that he can, and does control every issue
 even the Sun..

What is your Sun Stand Still kinda prayer..

We serve and love a very powerful God
yet we some times doubt that he can
handle even the most menial request..

 Make your Prayer and Thanksgiving
 in a
 Sun Stand Still
 size version..

 God is more than capable,
 and I bet he would
 love
 to see us have
 Sun Stand Still
 kinda faith..
