Information Age

In the last few years there have been quite a few great family movies with good values in them.
We are very blessed to live in a time where we have many conveniences at our fingertips.  We are living in the Age of Information.  The Bible talks about the increase in knowledge in the last days and how there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit moving across the land.  Really makes you think about these times we are living in, huh?

I can’t help but think how blessed we are in this generation.  We have so much technology.  With the click of the mouse we can pull up BibleGateway.com and search for any verse we want.

Another click and we have blog upon blog to encourage us in our spiritual journey.
People are wearing clothing with Faith messages.
Need something to drink? Grab your favorite mug / glass with your favorite scripture on it.

I walk into stores and see many items with scripture on them and bold faith statements to hang on my wall.

Couldn’t make it to church on Sunday?  Download the sermon to your IPod or watch your favorite preacher online or on tv.

Grab your friends and attend a conference.
I am very thankful for all we have available to us and pray that we never lose the freedom to worship God.  I continue to pray that our nation turns toward God and back to the wholesome values it was built on.  I am amazed that tv stations will put a disclaimer on before a preacher starts preaching:  The views expressed in this show are not necessarily those of this tv station…..    I rarely see warnings of this type before shows with sex, violence, & gore in them.  Pretty amazing, huh?

Anyway, I just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone of the freedoms and benefits we have and so often take for granted.  Take the time to offer up a prayer of thanks today.
Have a Blessed Day!
Missy
